Avoid this hostel. I’ve never seen anywhere this dirty. There were insects all over the kitchen, and I found flies when I got to my room. The receptionist didn’t seem to care and said it was normal because the cleaner had a day off.
The rooms themselves are fine, though they could use more privacy, and the hostel is spotless. But Rodolfo, the manager and receptionist, was a very irresponsible representative. He smoked marijuana and drank on the premises, and he often seemed unclean.
Leyla, the attendant, was lovely and very attentive, and the facilities were good. The only downside is the distance: it’s 1 km from the centre. I walked between the hostel and centre many times, though, and the quality is really good.
The place felt cozy and spotless, and we felt right at home. Ulises and the team treated us so well, with incredible kindness and support. It was a wonderful experience that went beyond what we expected. We loved everything, highly recommend it, and hope to come back soon.
It’s a comfortable place with welcoming hospitality. The rooms are nice, though it isn’t right in the centre.
