The only room drawback for us was no AC, though there was a fan. The SmartTV had YouTube, but the TV channels were in Spanish only. Having a car to get into town is a good idea. We walked back and forth before we got one. The place worked well for families, with a washing machine, a full fridge, and all the dishes we needed. Christophe and Rosaria took great care of us, and it was a nice start to our Easter Island visit. We loved our stay here. 12.20.2025

The room had all the amenities we needed, including a washer, and the free airport pickup was a big plus. This reasonably priced B&B is on Easter Island, about five minutes from the airport, right by a historical site and the best sunset spot.

The comfortable bungalows had everything we needed, and Rosario and Christophe made the stay special with their attentive but relaxed manner. We had a full-day tour with Christophe, who knew a lot and explained the different sites with real passion. A wonderful stay at Cabañas Christophe, thank you!

The location and service were just right. Anthony and Vai were always accommodating, and we got to go on a tour with Vai that was excellent. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

A few things to keep in mind: there’s no AC, just a fan, though that usually shouldn’t be a problem on Easter Island. The breakfast was simple, with different rolls, yam, cheese, sausage, and juice brought to our room. We also had a fridge, utensils, and microwave, and they take credit cards. The location worked well for us, about a five-minute drive from the airport and right at the Rano Kau Crater trailhead. The up-and-down walk takes about two hours and doesn’t need a guide. There’s an ancient cemetery across the way with great sunset views over the cliffs. Restaurants and shops are about a 15-minute walk away. Airport pickup and drop-off were included, and they did our laundry for free. The couple running the place were super friendly and quick to respond on WhatsApp. They also shared tour information proactively. It’s good value overall, with a rustic, personal feel.
