Peter’s knowledge of the area was so helpful. He recommended places to visit and eat and ways to experience the island’s unique culture. His advice enriched my trip and helped me make the most of my time on Easter Island. The location was convenient too, with easy access to the island’s attractions and landmarks. From the moment I arrived at Hareswiss, Peter’s warm welcome and attention to detail made me feel at home. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful details that added to the charm. My stay exceeded expectations, and Peter’s genuine warmth and care made it a trip I’ll cherish. Hareswiss is an excellent place to stay, and I highly recommend it if you’re planning a comfortable, memorable visit to Easter Island.

Peter and his family made our four nights here in late 2018 such a good stay. Peter arranged a local rental car and had it brought to our cabin at the best rate. You can walk into the village in about 30 minutes, or take a local taxi anywhere for very little. Hareswiss is a great place to stay on Easter Island. Margaret and I recommend it.

Peter was a really friendly host and shared lots about the island and Rapanui life. He also arranged a tour with a French guide and a rental car. We spent a very nice week in the well-equipped cabana and would definitely recommend it.

Tiare and her husband Peter made everything easy, from airport transfers to finding a guide and explaining the entry forms and tickets. Peter was especially helpful and easygoing, and his English is fluent. We rented a car from them to visit the sites and drive around. The cottage is spacious, very clean, and completely quiet. It's a bit outside the town center: walking takes 20-30 minutes, while driving can take 15-20 because the roads in town are rough and traffic moves slowly. We had no luck with sunsets since every evening was cloudy or rainy, but the views are really lovely.

The owner was so friendly and did more than expected to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The place itself was comfortable, well equipped, and had a wonderfully relaxing feel.
