I had a bad experience. The hot water wouldn’t work properly and came out boiling hot, and the bathroom door wouldn’t close. The rooms also let you hear everything, with very old furniture and beds that creak and make noise. The infrastructure is very old, though the location is good. Breakfast quality was poor, and the menu could use improvement.

I don’t recommend them. They never refunded the night they were supposed to pay back, wouldn’t answer when I tried calling, and never sent the invoice I requested. The rooms weren’t bad, but you’re still likely to have a bad experience somehow. The management is terrible and the service generally bad. Unfortunately, I understand this is the place that was most recommended.

The staff were helpful, and I appreciated the cleanliness. The rooms and breakfast could be better. The stoves need their gas leaks fixed, and the giant rosaries hanging over the beds should be removed. Staff should also wear masks at reception and while preparing and serving breakfast.

I’ve stayed here around three times for work. It’s clean and tidy, though the rooms need modernizing. The breakfast could be better too.

There aren’t many options in Ilapel, and this is one of the best. Rooms facing the courtyard are quiet, the Wi-Fi works very well, and there are several shops nearby.
