The lobby is a nice spot to relax, and the hotel is very close to the beach. The rooms were well maintained, with the TV, AC, wifi, and hot shower all working. My only room complaint was the sink: water came out at full strength and sprayed everywhere. Breakfast was okay.

Noise from upstairs kept me awake all night, and the staff wouldn't move me to another room. I paid for late checkout, but my key kept deactivating. I had to go to reception four times before they finally sent someone to let me in. Really frustrating.

I really like this Ibis Budget Hotel in Iquique. It's in a great spot near the boardwalk, and the staff were friendly. I can't remember the manager's name, but she wore glasses, spoke English, and was fun to talk with.

I had a terrible experience at this ibis. They charged me the 19% VAT even though I’m a foreigner, and I understood that tax to apply only to Chilean citizens. I’d tell others to stay away.
