The cabins themselves are nice, and it’s a quiet spot, which makes what happened even more disappointing. I stayed for two nights, December 19th to 21st, 2025. When I left, Patricio wasn’t there and asked me to leave the cash inside. I was in a hurry and didn’t count it, but he’d given me about 17,000 CLP too much. I only noticed after I’d gone and let him know on WhatsApp. I also asked for a receipt. Before I arrived, communication had been really smooth. After that message, he stopped replying. I called him on WhatsApp and he answered, apologized, and said he’d sort it out that afternoon. Five days passed with no update, so I messaged again. I still haven’t heard from him. It was completely unnecessary, and I feel scammed. So sad and pathetic.

It’s peaceful and feels secure, though a little far from the center. Patricio was excellent to deal with. The cabins are comfortable and have the essentials, including a barbecue grill. Getting in isn’t the easiest, but it’s manageable.

The cabin is about 1 km from the lake, and the road up can be tough for a small car. The owner was very attentive.

We’re definitely coming back! The view is lovely, the place has everything you need, and we even made pisco sour. Don Patricio, the owner, was so friendly. Simply amazing.
