The staff were very helpful, spoke English, and communicated well. It's close to the lifts. Highly recommend it as a base for exploring El Colorado.

The slope access was perfect, and having ski hire on site was handy. The equipment wasn't the best quality, though they did give a good discount. El Colorado is a good place to ski since you can find a sheltered spot somewhere around the resort whatever the conditions. We spent a week here and really enjoyed it. Our ground-floor apartment was small but fine for what we needed. Breakfast and dinner were included. Dinner was a good, filling three-course meal, but I found breakfast a bit lame. I'd recommend staying here for families and solo travelers alike.

The sunsets are wonderful, and the service is the warmest and best I've come across. The staff are committed to doing a great job. It's the best hotel in El Colorado, 100% recommended. You won't want to leave.
