Lodge Andes

I spent three days in Farellones and felt right at home at this very family oriented lodge. In the evenings, you end up making friends with the other guests and staff. It’s only a short, pleasant walk to the park and the other places you need, with just a few steps to get into the lodge. I thought it was good value compared with other places.

Rosita’s food was fantastic, with really good seasoning, salad, soup, a main dish, and dessert. Sr. Jorge was so helpful and made us feel at home. After a snowy day at the park, it was lovely to come back to hot chocolate, tea, or coffee, available any time. Nothing was negative for us, it was all perfect. Lodge andes is close enough to Farellones Park that you can walk to nearby restaurants for lunch. There’s a bar less than five minutes away for the evening, too. If I stay in Farellones again, I’ll definitely come back here.

We were welcomed warmly, and the staff were so friendly. Dinner was delicious, especially their corn pie, which is the standout dish.

The food is homemade and delicious, and the service was excellent. The place is very welcoming and in a great location. Highly recommend.
