The rooms are on the small side, but they were clean, and the staff were friendly. I also really enjoyed the breakfast that came with the stay. This is a nice little hostel in Osorno, though it's around 5 km from the city center. There's a bus stop about a 10-minute walk away.

Breakfast was nice, and everything else was very good. The room is small but good value. It's out of town, with a five-minute walk to the bus, so the location isn't great.

Hotel Truyaca makes a convenient stop in Osorno on the way to Argentina's Bariloche or while exploring Chile's Southern lakes, right by the internacional 215 Highway. The rooms are compact but laid out efficiently, and they were very clean. Breakfast was excellent, with the traditional southern Chile German sweet "kuchen". The service was top notch, and the whole stay felt great. It's a lovely mix of an urban-rural setting with a genteel, efficient feel.

We travel south in Chile quite often and really enjoyed this family-run hostal. The rooms were tidy and very clean, and the staff were warm and helpful. Breakfast was abundant, with typical southern Chilean food, and the homemade evening meals were delicious. A great place to stay, highly recommended.

We could hear people talking in the room next door, and our room felt a bit cramped. Still, it's a nice place.
