We were right by the lake, with a beautiful view of the aqua blue River from our balcony door. The staff were friendly and helpful. January brought gorgeous weather and picturesque views of the glaciers. We rented kayaks at the club and explored the lake’s quiet bay.

Each apartment has a kitchen setup if you want to cook, comfortable beds, and a terrace looking out at the creek. Club Nautico Huillín is right beside lake Pirihueico and Estero Quebrada Onda creek, which form waterfalls downstream. There’s also a Quincho (barbecue area) with a clay oven. Definitely a good place to stay.

The views from the location are lovely, but the stay didn't live up to the price. WiFi was very unreliable, barely useful for WhatsApp, and the shower's hot water worked quite poorly. We also found several broken things in the bathroom, and the place felt poorly maintained. There was hardly any staff around. If you needed something, you had to go to the main hotel. We were told, “we'll sort it out later,” but it never got resolved. Breakfast and dinner aren't included either. With better upkeep and more staff available, this place could improve a lot. At $300 a night, I wouldn't recommend it. It's an embarrassment.

There’s no WiFi, no one at reception, and the restaurant never seems to have space. They use the room’s kitchenette as the reason for not letting you use the main restaurant.
