Marcelo was a warm, welcoming host, and I really enjoyed our conversations. The rooms are cozy, with lots of wood and comfortable beds, and breakfast was one of the best I had during four weeks in Chile. It’s a great base for exploring the surrounding scenery, including the Huilo Huilo rainforest.

Marcelo took time to share useful suggestions for local routes, places to visit, and places to eat. The rooms are lovely, with comfortable beds and hot showers, and the accommodation has what you need for a comfortable stay. It’s in a great location. We’d happily come back.

The room has just what you need to unwind, and the beds are so comfortable that I really got some proper rest. It’s very close to one of the reserve entrances, which makes it a great base. Marcelo helps even before you arrive, with excellent tips for making the most of your time and seeing Huilo Huilo’s trails and attractions. Sra Ruth is lovely, and her homemade rolls are so good you’ll want more. She sells them, too. If you’re staying in Neltume to explore the area, I recommend this place again and again. Every time I visit, I go home happy.

Marcelo gave us a warm welcome and recommendations that felt personal and genuinely useful. The rooms and shared spaces are beautiful, cozy, and in great shape, and breakfast tasted like something from a five-star restaurant. I’m not kidding when I say this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Marcelo deserves all the good things.
