Casapapudo Boutique Hotel

A small boutique hotel with its own restaurant, and a surprisingly civilized lodging option for this area. Breakfast is made to order. They even manage to serve good coffee in the morning, which is more than I can say for the rest of the country’s lodging industry.

Alvaro and his family are always around if you need a hand, and the whole place has a peaceful feel that makes it easy to forget the city. The rooms are spacious with incredible views, and breakfast is nice. Common areas are a real highlight, beautifully decorated and a great place to relax. Everything feels clean and thoughtfully decorated, almost like stepping into paradise. If you’re nearby, don’t miss it, and make a weekend trip to papudo.

The room was awful and nowhere near a suite. I didn’t feel it was worth what I paid. The chairs were in terrible shape, maintenance overall was lacking, and the bathroom sink was in poor condition.

For what it costs, the service is poor and the price is extremely high. The beds are bad, there’s no air conditioning in the rooms, and the noise is annoying. I’d stay somewhere else.
