The rooms and food are simple but very good, and the stove is always going, so they feel cozy. Javier and Javiera do a great job running this small hotel. Breakfast is provided, and dinners are reasonably priced. I had the best steak of my two weeks in chile here, for $20, and the WiFi was great. Cerro Castillo is a small town with nothing to do or see, but it’s a short drive to Torres del Paine and lodging here is a lot more affordable. Highly recommended!

The evening meals here are absolutely excellent, and the service is too. Rooms are warm and comfortable, with heat from two sources, and the common lounge is a cozy place to relax. Staff are always glad to help, and the price is good. The only downside is that the bathrooms are very small. It’s a great little lodge about 50 minutes’ drive from the national park. The village is tiny, but there’s a small shop with basics if you get stuck, and the Argentina border crossing is two minutes away.

The dinner was so good it reminded me of my mum’s home cooking, and there’s a cozy common room where you can unwind by the fire. Our room had everything we needed. This is a beautiful family-run place near the Torres del Paine entrance, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like home. The hosts are welcoming and helpful, and you can tell they care about their guests. I’d definitely come back to Javier and his family :)

We’d happily recommend this wonderful family-owned lodge near the national park Torres Del Paine. The dinners have plenty of delicious choices, and the locally sourced salmon we had was the best ever. If you’re tired from hiking, we’d also recommend going fishing, fly and rod, with Javier and Javiera from the lodge. Thanks again for the lovely experience and your kindness. Greetings from Ellen & Alex

We spent five nights here while visiting Torres Del Paine park. It’s a great base for getting to the park without paying the outrageous prices of in-park accommodation, and the prices here are great. The beds were comfortable, meals were good, and the staff were amazing. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, helped us find places to go and told us about their corner of the world. We had a great stay and enjoyed everything.
