Cuarzo Lodge

You can hear the ocean clearly, even though there’s no ocean view. The hotel is near Punta de Lobos, a well known surfing spot, and the rooms are cozy and very clean. I loved the little back yard with its hot tub. The masseuses were kind and attentive, and there’s a private sauna for two, though you have to book it ahead. Breakfast was very good and could be brought to the room or eaten at the restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive too. It was a wonderfully relaxing, romantic getaway.

The room was spacious, with good beds and a bathroom that had both an indoor and an outdoor shower. Having a hot tub in every room was a great bonus. There were lots of lovely details around the place, the food was good, and the people were friendly. I’d absolutely recommend it.

It isn’t right on the beach, but the view and the property make up for that. Everything was clean, and there’s nice attention to detail in the rooms and around the hotel. The staff were lovely. Each room also has its own private outdoor hot tub. (-:

With just 8 cabins, Curazo Lodge has a relaxed feel. It’s an eco friendly lodge up on the hill with views of the surf break at Punta Lobos. Raw timber, white paint, natural soft furnishings and Art Deco wood furniture give the place a stylish look. You can walk to the beach, and town is a taxi ride away. The restaurant serves quality food too.
