Hotel Green en Marbella

The outlets are awkwardly placed, and there are no basics like water in the rooms or food service. The building itself has serious issues: the walls are so thin you hear TVs, movement, even a sneeze. You can also feel as if someone entering another room has walked into yours. When a guest in another room showered, my shower started leaking. The facilities are new, and the staff are very friendly, but those problems made the stay difficult.

The location is right in the heart of Marbella, but the staff seemed not to know the area. Guests could only use one entrance; the others were reserved for owners, who apparently minded hotel guests coming through. The room itself was poor value, with terrible soundproofing, a tiny impractical closet, no intercom, and a mini-fridge that seemed to be for show. The bathroom was cramped, uncomfortable, and badly equipped. Reception was unhelpful, and they didn't volunteer any information. Breakfast was acceptable, though it wasn't a buffet; everything was charged on delivery, and coffee beans cost extra. There are hotels that are worth their price. Read user reviews before choosing.

The pool was dirty and the spa wasn't open. My room was cold because the heating didn't work properly, and the room and hotel both felt in poor shape. The staff were working hard but looked exhausted. I also doubt the rooms are being sanitized. Maybe the whole place needs renovating.

The staff were the best part, really friendly and welcoming. The room was small but comfortable, and the hotel was very nice. The bathroom, though, was tiny, especially the shower, where you feel boxed in. When it's busy, the water is almost freezing. Breakfast is described as a buffet, but they bring small portions to your table instead.
