Hotel Pucon Indomito

The breakfast was tasty and had a good range of choices, but the timing was frustrating. Reception said it started at 7:30, yet most of the items weren't all out until nearly 8:30, so going down early didn't help. We also missed having even a basic setup for kids. There's no gym, kids' area, or playroom; even a small children's table with coloring pages and crayons or colored pencils would have been a thoughtful extra for families. The hotel parking lot is tiny, and cars weren't moved to free up spaces. We wished there were an arrangement with a nearby lot, since we got two street parking tickets. Still, we had a very good stay and recommend the hotel for its central location, comfortable room, and breakfast. A few family friendly touches would make it feel more complete. We stayed three nights at Hotel Indómito in Pucón during Carnaval, FEV 2026, when the town was extremely crowded. Being right downtown made a big difference: we could walk almost everywhere, especially at night, which was wonderful when finding street parking was nearly impossible. The room exceeded our expectations. Traveling with children aged 5 and 3, we had plenty of space, two double beds, and everything felt new and well kept. The beds and pillows were excellent and very comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were great. There was water and coffee available at reception all the time, a really sweet touch.

The room was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable after a day out. The hotel is also in a great spot, within walking distance of the lake and downtown Pucón. Breakfast, though, was disappointing. There wasn't much choice, sold out items weren't replenished, there was no fruit, the juices weren't fresh, and the staff weren't very attentive. I visited at the end of 2024, when breakfast had been extraordinary and much more varied, so this time left me disappointed.

The staff were very friendly, and I found the breakfast adequate. The location made it easy to reach everything, from the waterfront and downtown to shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean and nice, with a very good bed and a spectacular shower.

There are a few practical things to know. Breakfast is limited and doesn't accommodate needs like lactose or gluten intolerance. The restaurant is closed right now, although guests can use the dining room and bring their own food, with a microwave available. Tea, coffee, and hot and cold water are provided too. We also had a power cut that lasted several hours. There's no generator, which could be a drawback in bad weather, especially given the high price. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and a spectacular volcano view. It's very central, so walking around is easy.
