Hospedaje Corina

La señora is incredibly gracious and friendly, and breakfast is simple but good. The rooms are pleasant and clean, some with views of the harbor and volcanoes. It's a short walk uphill from the bus and ferry terminal. She has two places a block apart, and we've stayed at both now. They're equally good. You'll find more Chilenos than extranjeros, so it's a good spot to practice Spanish, though you'd do fine without it. Highly recommended if you're in Puerto Montt!

We had trouble finding Hostel Corina because the Google Maps directions didn't seem right while we were walking around Puerto Montt. Hospedaje Corina is well reviewed but up the street, maybe it's another of her locations or just an inaccurate map listing. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We loved her house, the kitchen view, comfortable bedrooms, bathrooms, and everything else. Breakfast was great, and she cooked it when we wanted it. The hostel is really close to the bus terminal. Definitely recommend staying there while you're in Puerto Montt.
