Dinner was tasty, and the restaurant has a superb view. Our one-bedroom suite was roomy and comfortable. Its kitchenette is tucked into a closet with a sink, stove, and refrigerator, but that was enough for us. The hotel seems older, though it’s kept up well, and the staff were excellent.

The bed was very comfortable, though our room felt a little chilly for late October. It was a huge room, with a king bed, full-size couch, table and six chairs, kitchenette, and bathroom. The hotel is older but clean, right on the coast with sea views. We were there one night after LATAM cancelled our flight; the airline brought our group over and provided the room, dinner, and breakfast. Dinner choices were very limited for us as vegetarians, and breakfast was just average.

Morning traffic can be a drawback: the hotel is near the harbour and the main road into town, which gets jammed. Otherwise, it’s a charming, high-quality hotel with a sense of status. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, breakfast is good, and the waiters seemed well trained.

The restaurant has great views, and the waterfront location is lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room felt dated, though, and the temperature control wasn’t good. I’d avoid level 7 since it’s directly below the restaurant.

I was there for a week a couple of years ago. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a good-sized desk and a large bathroom. Breakfast was the best part. It’s centrally located in the city and faces the bay.
