Tinka

I came back for two stays during my time in Santiago. It's a small hotel, but the rooms are roomy, and there's a large lounge and dining space guests can use. You can also get into the little kitchen around the clock to warm up food. Breakfast is included and delicious, and there's unlimited coffee from a bean-to-cup machine, plus small snacks, any time of day. It's very close to the Metro and I highly recommend it. There's no parking out front, so arriving by car may mean parking some distance away. I'd use public transport in Santiago, it's cheap, safe, and efficient.

The main downside is the noise from the busy street, so bring earplugs if you want to sleep comfortably. Otherwise, Tinka is a great hotel/Airbnb in a very safe area in the heart of Santiago. The rooms are spacious, the mattresses are excellent, and the facilities are very good. Breakfast is nice, and tea, cookies, cereal bars, and other snacks are always available in the kitchen. The staff are wonderful, making it a solid choice for a stay in Santiago.

Chile 🇨🇱 2024 We were so happy to find this place and will stay here again when we return. The apartment-style hotel is beautiful and in an even better location, within walking distance of great restaurants and nightlife, with a super cute coffee shop right next door. Rooms were very clean, the air conditioning was strong, and the bathrooms were huge. There is a small step into each bathroom, so watch your footing. All three of our rooms had one, but it wasn't an issue. We received keys for the gate, front door, and room. Remember to save the owner or manager's number on Booking or whichever service you used. We had to call when we arrived, and the manager opened the gate. Breakfast is included, and coffee, tea, and snacks are available 24 hours a day. Please clean up after yourself outside breakfast hours.

The shared tables were useful when we wanted to eat in, and the metro station right across the road made getting around easy. We walked to almost everywhere we wanted to go. We stayed three nights and were glad we chose this place. Our room seemed newly renovated, everything was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were lovely, breakfast was good, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.
