Our private room was just right, and the location made it easy to get into the center. The bus station is about a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast is included, mostly bread and coffee, which is useful if you're heading out early. They also store your bags while you do the trek. Tamara was so friendly and helpful, as was everyone else we met. I've stayed in plenty of hostels, and this one is a 10/10 for me.

The hosts were incredibly kind and did everything they could to help us. The layout works well, with a huge kitchen, a couple of lounges, and some green space. It's easy to meet people to hike with if you need a crew. Everything was clean and the rooms were good. A top-tier place to stay if you're in town for trekking.

The staff were super helpful, from sorting out hiking pole rental to suggesting the best alfajores, and the hostel has a very cute cat. I stayed here before and after the w-trek and really enjoyed it. It's cozy, with a cute garden and lots of natural light. The kitchen has decent space and is kept clean. Breakfast is free from 5am to 10am, handy for an early hike, and you can leave your bags here while you're away on the trek. The rooms are clean, with standard bunks and lockers. They're well ventilated during the day and then heated. I only wish the bunks had curtains, though I think most Puerto Natales hostels don't have them. The private room was great, where I stayed after the w-trek. Had a great stay, thank you!

We used Hostel El Patagonico as our base before and after a great W-Trek. It has a relaxed feel and a nice social atmosphere in the common areas and kitchen, though it's not a party hostel. Most people are hikers focused on early starts or getting some rest. The private room with a private bath is well away from the common areas, so it's a good choice for a quieter night. When we got back from TDP earlier than expected, the staff kindly found us a last-minute bunk. The private room with a shared bath was less comfortable: it sits by the kitchen, and thin walls plus a very squeaky neighboring door made it noisy. Oiling the doors would help, especially with hikers leaving as early as 05:00. The kitchen is roomy and easy to cook in, and the staff were very helpful. Shared bathrooms are spacious and clean, with steady hot water, and the Wi-Fi is very fast. Breakfast was disappointing, just bread and cake; a protein option would be better than such a sugary start. There's no laundry on-site, but it's easy to find nearby. I enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to people looking for a social but trekking-focused place.

The common room is really nice to come back to after a day of hiking, and most people shop at local markets and cook in the shared kitchen since eating out every night gets expensive. It's clean and safe, with friendly staff and good Wi-Fi. Guests are a mix from the US, Latin America, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. There are a few private rooms, but most are men's and women's dorms. I seem to have gotten the largest room, with a private bath, so mine probably isn't representative. Breakfast was good. You can hire guides and rent equipment here. A good budget option for day hikes in Patagonia.
