The best part was the lovely view out front. Behind the cabin, though, there were corrals and trash. We stayed two nights, but this felt like somewhere for just one. The cabin wasn’t equipped for the number of people it says it can sleep, with too few plates, cups, glasses, and towels. The blankets had stains that looked like vomit or yogurt, and I want to believe they were yogurt. When we opened the neatly made double bed at bedtime, there was a ball of a woman’s hair inside. Disgusting. There’s very little in the way of amenities, just a small bar of soap in the bathroom, and the price wasn’t lower than other places, so I was surprised it wasn’t more comfortable. The dirt driveway was in terrible shape, and our truck bounced all the way from the entrance to the parking spot. Inside, the shower curtain rod and some tiles were coming loose or falling apart. Only one side of the kitchen outlet worked, and it was on the stove, so it wasn’t possible to cook or use the kettle. The kettle’s cord was too short to plug in elsewhere. On our first afternoon back from a walk, there was a large, unfriendly dog loose. It came over looking for food, then wandered off and barked at us. We didn’t feed it, but we had children with us and they were scared. The manager wasn’t there at night. He said he’d come if we called, but never showed up because he wasn’t near the property.

The cabin was spotless and well equipped, and I loved the beautiful views from this location outside the city. Excellent place.

We loved the lovely, far-reaching view and the little cabin was cozy and really comfortable. There’s a big field for the kids, too. The owner was very kind. It’s roughly an hour from Torres de Paine and about 20 minutes from cueva del Milodon. Recommended.

It’s a peaceful spot where you can get a good rest. The beds were especially comfortable, and the cozy cabin felt pleasant. The kitchen was simple but enough for us. The shower was on the small side, though the water pressure and temperature were good. Highly recommended.
