Hostal Nancy

We didn't end up staying at the hotel. Just as we were checking in, we found out the Navimag ferry had moved our boarding date to that day. Although our booking was technically non-refundable, Andrea, the owner, handled it practically and was so helpful and understanding. It was a relief to meet a hotel owner with such humanity.

The location is central, with an easy walk to the bus station and shopping area. Staff we met were very friendly, and breakfast was lovely, with toast, egg, cheese, ham, granola, yoghurt, muffins, fruit, and all the toppings we wanted. We stayed one night and, even with a late check-in we'd confirmed in advance, got a very warm welcome. The room was quite big, with a very comfortable bed, lots of cabinet space, a nice bathroom with a large shower, and a small side room with a desk and couch. We definitely recommend this Hostal.

A ferry schedule change meant we didn't end up staying here, but the owner was incredibly kind, helpful, and understanding. We wish we'd been able to stay. The town centre is an easy, short walk away.

Andrea was so helpful and accommodating, and her brownies were to die for. She packs them for hikers. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the location was just right, not too far from the busy street.
