Hostal Rufus

We stayed two nights before the W and two after, and really enjoyed it. The location is convenient, about 10 minutes from the bus terminal and a few blocks from the center. They rented us a very good tent for the W at the same price as the rental shops, and we used their laundry service twice. We dropped the bags late afternoon and everything was clean and dry the next morning. The place was very clean, and breakfast was very good, especially Claudio's organic scrambled eggs. The walls are thin, as everywhere in Patagonia, but earplugs do the trick. Thank you, Aube, Michael and Claudio, for everything.

The hallways can get loud when people are talking in the evening. The walls are thin, and the doors and floors creak a bit, but it's not a big deal, just bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, it's a cute place with clean rooms, hot water, a good breakfast and really nice staff.

The rooms were spacious and super clean, the place is well maintained, and the beds had great mattresses with such soft sheets. Showers had strong water pressure too. The staff were kind and helpful with my rebooking, and Alba deserves a special mention for making my stay feel special and sharing great ideas for things to do and places to eat. Breakfast was great, and they adapt to early buses, though there aren't snacks in a bag. I had a wonderful stay at Rufus. It really feels like a place you can call home.

We were there over Christmas, and the festive dinner they put on made us feel like part of the family. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. Had a great stay and would highly recommend it.
