Our tire went flat at 10 PM, and the owner, Juan, came out to help us change it. He was incredibly generous and helpful. We were really impressed and appreciate him.

Juan is such a nice, friendly owner. We were able to leave luggage here before heading out on the W or O-Trek, and the location is perfect. Breakfast was fantastic and available very early. If you're lucky, Juan might even cook eggs for you in the early morning. Thanks, Juan, and good luck!

The communal space is cozy, and there's a huge kitchen. Breakfast is laid out from 5am, which is great for early treks or day trips. Juan was a friendly, genuine, and helpful host. The rooms were clean, with good showers and comfortable beds. Thanks for a great stay!

The common room is a nice place to relax and meet people, though it could get a bit noisy. The rooms were spacious and worked well for a couple. Our host was really friendly and gave us such a warm welcome. Breakfast runs from 5am to 10am, great if you're planning an early hike. The hostel el sendero is near the lake shore, and it's an easy 15-minute walk into the center.
