The rooms could use an update, but that wasn’t much of an issue since we spent more time out than in. Breakfast was fine, with enough to eat, and there were nut-free and vegetarian choices. The location made things easy, with shops, pharmacies, rentals, restaurants, and laundromats all nearby. The staff were lovely and helpful with everything we asked for. When my partner caught a cold, they even made her some tea, and they provided anything we needed that wasn’t already in the room.

In Chile, “3 B” means Bueno, Bonito y Barato, or good, beautiful, and cheap. If that’s what you’re after, this is a good option.

The rooms get ridiculously hot when the sun is out. It’s clean, but there’s no atmosphere, and the breakfast is as bad as you’d expect in a hostel.
