This is a run-down guesthouse, not a hostel, despite how it’s advertised on Booking and other platforms. There are no shared dorms or bunk beds. The room smelled strongly of dirty socks, as if someone had just left their shoes there. I also couldn’t properly close or lock the door. I told the staff, but they didn’t fix it. The main problem was the charge. I expected to pay 56 usd for 2 nights, but didn’t check the currency conversion before tapping my card and was charged 100 USD. I complained, and the boss said it was tax. 50% as tax? They then refused to sort it out and ignored me. I decided to move to another hostel, where everything was fine, with no tax or false advertising issue like this one. A very disappointing stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, especially solo travelers who care about cleanliness and basic security. Be careful with the price. This happened in january 2026.

A small, quiet, homely place with a friendly owner, and probably the best hostel in Puerto Natales if you’re heading for the W or O trek. The rooms are big and heated, and the showers are hot with strong water pressure. The kitchen has everything you need, even oil and spices. Breakfast comes with unlimited eggs, bread, and jam. Gear rental for the trek is much cheaper than at other rental shops, and laundry is cheap and convenient.

~Backpacking on a budget through South America~ The private room was okay, and breakfast was nice. The house felt cramped, with very thin walls that let you hear everything. The way things were handled also felt a bit unprofessional.

We came back twice because it felt like home. There were lots of friendly travelers, and Jaime the owner is a really nice, friendly man. The hostel was very clean, and breakfast was great. Definitely recommend.

It’s a converted house, clean but cramped, with friendly staff. The chickens are loud in the morning, though maybe worth it for fresh eggs? Bag storage costs 2,000 CLP per night, and laundry is 10,000 CLP.
