Cabanas Los Pinis

We had a well-laid-out, air-conditioned apartment, and the location, infrastructure, and security were excellent. But visitors aren’t clearly told the house rules. My family and I were kept awake by a party and loud music until 8:20 in the morning, then faced a 7-hour drive home without enough rest. The company showed little empathy and did nothing to help everyone get some sleep.

At 10:00 PM, I arrived to find myself without a place to stay in Puerto Varas. Despite making the reservation by email, paying more than half, and having spoken with them the day before, they said there was no reservation. Their proposed fix was a cabin with no water. Terrible service.

They had the fire going when I arrived, which made the place feel very welcoming. It’s only meters from Lake Llanquihue, with an excellent location and good connectivity.

I booked by phone, but when I got there they said nothing was available. They claimed I hadn’t booked by email, so they wouldn’t honor it. That struck me as very unprofessional. I’m going to complain to the tourist office and cancel them. I don’t recommend them at all.
