The staff were especially kind and professional, and very patient about trying to meet all our needs. Mrs Myriam served us dinner on a few nights and was so nice to us. My family and I had a great time at the Hotel Cabana del Lago. The rooms were very clean, the views were stunning, and breakfast was very good. Thank you to everyone. We strongly recommend staying here and will definitely return.

The Bar's hamburger with bacon was succulent, and the crispy chicken was tender inside. The complimentary breakfast had enough variety, though I had some reservations. From a distance and in photos, the exterior and shared spaces look appealing. Hotel Cabana del Lago sits on a hill by the Lake Llanquihue waterfront. Room 311 had creaky floors and an uncomfortable toilet with a deep flush button on the side, and we barely slept. The room to its right could be seen from its side window. We appreciate Mr. Andrew checking for another available room and moving us to 526 the next day. That room was more comfortable, had the same new carpet as the hallways, and a new toilet with an easy-to-press flush. The downside was that a roof blocked the lake view from bed. Both bathrooms were outdated.

Our room was spacious, had all the facilities we needed, and the shower was good. Daily service was thorough and excellent, and the WiFi worked well. Parking seemed adequate, and there may be more spaces if you ask. The location on Lago Llanquihue is wonderful, with views of distant mountains and nearer volcanoes when the weather allows.

The lakeside setting is hard to beat, and the views are great. We had a very enjoyable stay, with spacious rooms and a swimming pool we liked using.

The facilities are large and the views are good, but what I paid didn't feel like good value, which is why I rated it low. It definitely doesn't feel like a four-star hotel: the furniture is dated, the sofa is torn, the wall outlets are out of place, and the bathtub is more what you'd expect in a two-star place.
