Hostal Chiloe - Hostel

The place is well located, close to the center and the meeting point for the Isla Magdalena tour. Friendly owner and staff, clean rooms, and a big kitchen with all the equipment you need.

Best hostel in town! Lovely staff, great rooms, and a nice shared space. Perfect for bikepackers passing through Punta Arenas.

The location is right in central Punta Arenas, and I'd definitely come back if I'm in the city again. I was really happy at Chiloe. Claudio and his parents were lovely and welcoming, the room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom had great water pressure. Nothing to fault. The breakfast option was brilliant for the price. I had an early tour, and they packed a bag for me with a few breakfast sandwiches, brownie, banana, yoghurt, and juice. Best hostel breakfast I've had in South America, 10/10.

The hostel is centrally located, with a Unimarc supermarket a couple of blocks away. Staff were friendly, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking and always clean. My wife and I had a spacious, comfortable private room with its own bathroom. As in other old wooden buildings, there was some creaking as we moved around. The Wi-Fi signal in our second-floor room was relatively weak.
