The house has been remodeled and feels welcoming, with lots of details tied to Puntarenas culture. For a good price, this is an excellent hostel. It's about a 15-minute walk from the city center, and they serve a nice breakfast around a shared table, a good way to start a sightseeing day. You can hear the usual creaks of a wooden house.

Breakfast was excellent, especially the homemade alfajores. I'm still thinking about them! The hosts were so friendly and helpful. It's very near the city center and about a short 10-minute walk from the seaside promenade. The rooms did feel a little too hot.

Service was good and the location reasonable. The bathroom was terrible, though, and I would have liked a better breakfast. It's not a bad option if you're trying not to spend much on accommodation.

The rooms were very comfortable, the staff friendly, and the prices affordable. It's a bit far from the city center, but they organize bike tours in Patagonia. Highly recommended!
