I picked this comfortable, homey hostel because it's within an hour's drive of the Antillanca ski resort. It has a delicious breakfast, spectacular lake views, and a lovely family who make you feel welcome. It's wonderfully secluded, and the hotel itself is worth a visit.

We felt so welcome at Las Juntas. The owner went out of his way for us, even making sure there was plenty to eat at breakfast when we said we were vegan. It's a lovely place, and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming stay.

Our room had a nice lake view, and the stay was good value. It's a small, family-run place on the lake, reached by a gravel road off the main road. Host Alvaro was friendly and helpful. We took one of his recommended hikes and enjoyed it. He also offered a chupa de jaibas for dinner, which we decided to try. It was very good.

The road there is VERY bumpy, but everything else was great. The owner was friendly, breakfast was great, and the lake view was lovely. The place was relaxing, and the bed was big and comfortable.

It really felt like home. Our host was amazing, and so were the food and hospitality. We were near the lake and had a nice view. Such a great stay.
