Our confirmed reservation for a second night was cancelled just a couple of hours before we returned to Punta Arenas, so late at night we had to find another hostel. Earlier, we'd asked whether late check-in that day would be all right and were told yes. The trouble started after our first night. We were told we could leave our bags at reception and use the kitchen after checkout. We were out during the day, but when we came back to cook, collect our things, and leave, the owner suddenly said we couldn't use the kitchen or toilet or keep our bags there. She told us to leave, even though we'd checked that the arrangement was okay. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you care about a good customer experience.

The breakfast was the best I've had at a place in Chile, with eggs cooked to order, toast, good coffee, and fresh fruit salad. The B&B also has a warm, homely feel, an attentive host, comfortable beds, plenty of natural light, and a view of the water.

It has a great kitchen for making lunch or dinner, and the whole place feels cosy, almost like one big family. Breakfast was the best we had in South America, especially the coffee. Loved staying here, and I absolutely recommend it.

The price was great, and it's close to everything downtown. The beds were comfy, and both the kitchen and bathrooms were good. I met some cool people here too. A lovely, welcoming place. I'd recommend it and would come back.

Sam really cares about his guests, and staying in his house felt like being at home. His volunteers, Nicky and Peter from the UK, were friendly and helpful, and made the best breakfast 😋!
