Hotel Doria

Some of the staff were helpful, and I’m grateful for that. They couldn’t explain the state of the hotel, though. The lack of cleanliness was everywhere, in the rooms, dining room, kitchen, and beyond. It’s hard to imagine a worse stay, especially since the hotel didn’t even provide the basic services advertised online.

Breakfast was a little meager, and the room showed some wear in places, though the cleanliness wasn’t bad. When I arrived, the electricity was out. Repairs were done and power came back after about an hour, but I was surprised to find myself without electricity.

I was comfortable, with no annoying noise or other problems. The rooms are old, and although they’d been cleaned well, stains are hard to get out of the carpet. The cleaning staff were very friendly. The location wasn’t great for me, since I couldn’t find anywhere nearby to get a proper meal.

The room was clean, and the place met expectations at a good price. It’s recommendable for a restful night in Rancagua. The hotel is clearly old, though, and the carpets and room TVs look dated and could be updated. I also found loose electrical wires behind the mini fridge, which was very dangerous.
