The guides made our time in the Atacama special. Filipe and Connie were both fantastic, knew the area deeply, and adjusted each day to our interests and energy. They brought the landscape to life with context and enthusiasm. The setting itself is immense and always shifting, with its light, colors, silence, and scale, and Awasi places you right in it without distractions. The villas are private, quiet, and well suited to the desert. The whole design feels thoughtful and grounded, with a kind of luxury that comes from calm and restraint. Meals were included and consistently delicious, creative without being fussy, and paired with excellent wines. After long days out, the food was exactly right. The staff were attentive and genuine at every turn, and that consistency speaks to strong leadership and a well built culture. Our stay at Awasi Atacama was outstanding from beginning to end, and made this rare, powerful destination unforgettable.

The meals were a standout, from spectacular multi-course dinners to incredible snacks by the pool, all made by chef Sebastian. The rooms and architecture were also carefully thought through, spacious, and very comfortable, as you'd expect at this level. Still, what impressed me most was the service: every guest was treated like a close friend. The caring, efficient, cheerful staff even remembered my usual drinks without me asking, and I truly felt at home. I've traveled widely and stayed in many wonderful hotels across Europe, Africa, and North and South America, but Awasi Atacama stood apart. Its Relajs Chateaux and 2 Michelin Keys classification reflect the quality of the Awasi group. My guides Cris and Oswaldo made exploring the Atacama Desert a special adventure, showing us how rich its culture and nature are. I could write pages of praise, but if I could, this would be an 11/10 review.

The tours were tailored to what you need, and the guides were excellent. Service was the best, with all the staff working together smoothly. The rooms were perfect and very large, and the food was on the level of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Big 5 rating.

For someone who's traveled to over 50 countries across every continent and stayed at “and beyond” hotels in Africa, this was one of the best places and experiences of our lives. The food, hotel, and tours were all amazing. The rooms are large and old fashioned, which is exactly the idea of the place. We visited in winter: the days were pleasant, the hotel wasn't crowded, and it was cold at night, but that was okay.

The guides put together spectacular explorations based on guests' interests and energy levels. The scenery is beautiful and the outings are mind-boggling. The staff are kind, generous, and attentive to details in a way we rarely find, even at nice hotels. The dining ranks among the finest restaurants we've tried: the chef from Peru made every meal memorable and delicious, and the sommelier was knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. Bartenders created special drinks each night, with plenty of Chilean wines paired with the food. The setting and the buildings are peaceful and beautiful, and the intimate architecture feels inviting and restorative. We'd give this place 10 stars. It's hands down one of the finest hotel experiences we've had anywhere. If you've traveled through other spectacular landscapes but haven't been to Atacama, I'd book this hotel without hesitation.
