We were a group of five bikers and stayed at La Cochera both before and after our trip to Bolivia this month. It was the best hotel of our three-week road trip. The location is great, just a quick stroll to the center of San Pedro. The staff were beyond great, especially Diego, who did his best to help and accommodate us during both stays.

The price seemed reasonable compared with the other choices in town. The hotel itself was great, with very good service and a comfortable room. It’s right on the corner of the city’s most popular street, which was a big plus for me. It took us about 20 seconds to walk there.

The pool area and shared lounge spaces are great for relaxing, and breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s comfortable in every way without being outrageously priced.

Right in the heart of the Plaza, shops, and restaurants, this is a convenient place to stay in San Pedro de Atacama. Free parking is included, which makes things easy if you have a car.

It feels expensive for what you get. The pool wasn’t clean, there was no chair in the room, and there’s no Wi-Fi in the rooms. Breakfast was okay, but could use more choices.
