ANTONIO LEON 79 is the address for Hotel “PIRWA”, a brand new place to stay and unwind in San Pedro de Atacama. It has excellent facilities, and the hotel is very good. The staff are genuinely friendly and courteous, always willing to help with whatever you need. My sincerest congratulations!

I would never stay here again, and I do NOT recommend this accommodation. The rooms were freezing, with no heaters or extra blankets for everyone. The shower water was ice cold. We contacted the property on the first day, and were told to take turns showering because one room using the shower meant another wouldn't have hot water. Nobody had told us this in advance, and they didn't apologize. Getting around was a problem too. The place is isolated, the road has almost no street lighting, and there were no Ubers or taxis available. We had to walk 30 minutes each way to go downtown or buy food, since there's absolutely nothing nearby. At night it was even harder to find electricity, and it was freezing cold. The host was extremely unhelpful. When our flight was changed at the last minute, we needed to confirm the hotel address to arrange airport transfers and avoid missing the flight. She ignored our calls and messages during the emergency, then later complained that we'd bothered her outside business hours.

Clean, peaceful hotel and welcoming staff. It was a fantastic stay, I'll be back!
