The common room and kitchen were spacious and well equipped, and the hostel looks lovely at first. But the dorms were really unattractive and felt like sleeping in a garage. The toilets and showers seemed dirty all the time, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. I spent one night at Atacama Tatais. It wasn’t cheaper than other well-reviewed places in town, and the location was mediocre at best. San Pedro has lots of options, so I’d pick somewhere else.

A cozy, laid-back shared area and a complete kitchen made this a good affordable option for backpackers in San Pedro. The staff were very friendly, and the hostel was quiet, away from the busy center.
