The garden outside looks out toward the mountains, and at sunset you can watch their colours change. The only thing I'd change is the grid fence partially blocking that view; maybe it could be lower. Inside, it was quiet all the time, which worked well for resting or taking a remote meeting. The room was comfortable, spacious, always clean, and smelled nice, thanks to Aida, who looks after the hostal. The bed was very comfortable too, and the shower was hot, a great way to unwind after a day sightseeing. There was no fan, but the room temperature felt pleasant. Breakfast was simple and tasty, and Aida packed a snack box for early tours. It's a peaceful, safe-feeling 10-minute walk to San Pedro's centre, including at night. I stayed for seven days and will definitely return.

Maribel took great care of us and was an excellent host. We stayed for two nights, and the room was super clean, the cleanest accommodation of our whole trip through Argentina and Chile. The location is very central, close to both the centre and the bus terminal.

We had a late bus and could wait at the hostal, with water, tea, and a bathroom available. That was really thoughtful. Drinking water was there around the clock, and we could use the spotless kitchen too. The young woman running the place was cheerful and very helpful, and made our visit wonderful. Excellent hostal.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast room was pleasant. Breakfast was fine, a continental-style spread, though not a huge one. You can park inside, and it's only a five-minute walk to San Pedro de Atacama centre. In November 2019, the price was 80 USD per night. As tourists, we could pay only in cash in USD to avoid the taxes.

The only problem was the very loud music from the circus tent next to the hostal. It carried on until 11 p.m. and was disturbing. Otherwise, it's a very clean and safe place with parking. Maribe was kind and is always on site.
