Hostal Copart

The staff at Hostal Copart were so kind and helpful. Every night they heated water for my hot water bottle, which they really didn’t have to do. The hostel has a lovely feel, especially with Roots, its cozy coffee shop. The coffee was great, breakfast delicious, and sitting with my morning drink while jazz played was such a pleasure. I absolutely loved my stay. One of the best hostels I’ve been to, and I’d give it six stars if I could. Highly recommended!

Roots Resto and Bar is part of the hostel, and they played vibey music all day. You can’t hear it from your room, but you do hear it when you go outside or take a shower, and it adds to the atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and took care of all my needs and questions.

The room was cozy, the staff were very friendly, and breakfast was great. There’s free water and tea available all day. My only complaint is that the hostel is attached to the cafe, and the bathrooms are shared with cafe guests. To get there, you have to walk past the outdoor seating. It felt awkward going by diners in my pajamas after a shower at night.

The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of showers, the WiFi was great, and breakfast was fantastic. The location is right in the center of town, within walking distance of everything. It was a really good stay, and I’d come back if I were in San Pedro again.
