Hostal Casa Greda

The owners were kind and always ready to help, and I had a great time here. It’s close to the center of San pedro but still quiet, which made the most of my time there. The rooms are cozy, there’s plenty of shared space, and the Hostal is clean.

Leslie and Paola treated us like people who mattered, and did everything they could to make our trip to the Atacama Desert memorable. My wife has allergies and was stuck in bed during our trip. They gave us so much support and attention while she recovered, so she could enjoy San Pedro de Atacana and the desert’s attractions. This was my first time staying in a hostel after always choosing hotels or Airbnb, and it was an excellent experience. The Hostel is cozy and very nice. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, and I’d give the cleanliness, service, promptness, and attention a 10. The location is excellent too. Breakfast is simple but very good. San Pedro do Atacama and the desert attractions deserve a review of their own. I’d say these places are a must for anyone who gets the chance to visit.

We had a nice stay. The women who run the place were supportive and helped us out in several ways. The one small issue was the shower temperature, which kept changing for no obvious reason while we were using it.

The location is close to Caracoles and to the place where the vans finish their tours. The owners are very friendly, and I loved meeting them. We had a lovely seven-day stay and I’d return to Casa Greda on another trip to Atacama. Our room and bathroom were spacious, and the hostel was very clean and smelled nice. The bed was soft and the blankets were really warm. Each morning there was a tasty little breakfast waiting for us. When we had early tours, they had breakfast ready ahead of time too. I loved that!
