Hotel Boutique Vendimia Premium

We first stayed here 8 years ago and loved it. Coming back for three days in late March 2025, we found it had only gotten better. The hotel feels unique and Spanish, with old, authentic decorations. Our room was cozy and spacious, and the bed was perfect. Breakfast was typical, with fruit, cheese, and eggs, and there's a delicious restaurant across the street. I swam in the pool each day, then took wine to the deck in the evenings to watch the sunset over the vineyards. Mauricio told us about a local wine fest, and we went with friends and had a great time. Highly recommend.

I think this might be where I stayed in Santa Cruz. It was right in the middle of wine country and reminded me of Sonoma, but at a fraction of the cost.

The host family were lovely, and I hope I can return one day for a much longer stay. This place feels like a little paradise, with its unusual design, fruit gardens, and swimming pool. Walking around is like being in an art gallery, and it has more of a boutique resort feel than a hotel. Across the quiet little street, there's an excellent restaurant that isn't as expensive as Google suggests. Viña Laura Hartwig winery is also within walking distance and is excellent too.

Mauricio is a thoughtful, accommodating host. The hotel feels beautiful and welcoming, and its location makes it easy to get to the Valley's best vineyards. Several excellent restaurants are also within walking distance.
