You have several shops and a bakery right across the street, where they make sandwiches in front of you. The apartments are comfortable and clean, with everything you need to get some rest.

The staff are very attentive, and the apartments are kept clean and in good shape. For short stays, they're a great choice, especially if you're going shopping in downtown Santiago. The location is strategic.

The location was good, and Orlando was kind and understanding. Still, I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. We had much better experiences elsewhere in the city, and this place made us miss out on part of our trip because we were afraid to leave our things behind. Stay away from this place. We visited Chile as a family for the first time, with our two young children. We had booked our package well in advance through Azul Viagens, but a flight change meant we arrived a day earlier than planned. At the property, we were told we'd have to pay for the extra night, which hadn't been mentioned beforehand. We agreed that I'd contact the agency in Brazil, though the weekend and communication difficulties meant it took a few days. Orlando gave us some time, but Hernandez, the other person in charge, acted completely unacceptably. Hernandez pressured us for payment every day, raised the agreed amount to a higher dollar figure, and threatened us. He said he'd send our names to the police if we didn't pay, which could cause problems when leaving the country. Worse, he tried several times to open our apartment door with a spare key while we were inside, without our permission. With small children there, it left us frightened and very uncomfortable. The property was also in poor condition: dirty and moldy, with old, dusty bedding, broken cabinets, and bathroom leaks. We stayed in two different apartments, and both had the same problems. We also found out this wasn't actually a hotel, but a residential apartment, which explained the lack of proper guest service facilities. Orlando's goodwill and the location were the only saving graces. I thought the problem was the people, but we'd had good experiences at other places in the city.

The apartment was filthy and smelled of mold. The drains didn't work, so we ended up with water and wet floors. We asked to have the filthy towels replaced, but the replacements were even worse. The hair dryer outlet looked ready to give you an electric shock, and the blankets felt like dog bedding. A warning to Brazilians and anyone visiting from abroad: don't stay here!
