The location is handy, with buses and the metro close by, and the nearby Italia Street area has a bohemian feel and lots of bars and restaurants. From the airport, take the airport bus to Los Héroes and then a taxi. The staff were friendly, but having their friends over in the evenings meant some noise and felt a bit inconsiderate. Breakfast was extremely basic, with only instant coffee, and the kitchen didn’t seem well kept or clean enough for me to recommend cooking there. The bedroom was spacious and the shower room decent, but I wouldn’t stay again.

The stairway is a little narrow, so it could be tricky for people with mobility limitations. They also have luggage storage if you need it. The staff were great, breakfast was nice, and everything was clean. The bathroom was really good, too, and it’s close to metro stations and supermarkets.

We had a taxi problem on the way from the bus station: the driver got lost and then tried to overcharge us, but the guy at reception sorted it out over the phone. The location is good for the main park and San Cristoban Hill, and it’s an easy 30-minute walk to the city center and the meeting point for the free walking tours. The rooms were clean and nice, with Netflix on the TVs. Breakfast was good, and the staff spoke good English and were extremely helpful.
