The room was okay, and you get what you pay for, but the service wasn't good. The name 'Bed & Breakfast' is misleading when breakfast isn't offered. It's self-managed like an Airbnb, with no reception and nobody there to open the door. Text the WhatsApp number a few hours before arrival to get a reply and access. When I arrived, a group was waiting outside because they couldn't get in and no one was answering the door or their messages. The host should send people the entry information ahead of time instead of leaving them stuck outside. I'd stayed in a few places in Santiago and expected reception and similar service. I wasn't prepared to wait 25 minutes for a reply, or meet other guests who'd already been waiting outside for 15 minutes. Still, you get what you pay for. The room was hot, with no AC or air circulation. Because of the room's design, closing the door also closes the window. I stayed in the top room and barely had internet. It was very quiet, but also felt far away from any communication. I really liked the open backyard and the large living room and great kitchen. The fridge had filtered water, though its water filter didn't work. The cleaning lady was very nice, which made things a bit better. Come here if you like traveling solo and having zero communication with other people.

We got what had been advertised: a small room with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, a fairly large living room, and a patio. On the last morning, the power was out for hours on one side of the apartment, but we could stay until the cleaning service left. All in all, good value for the price, especially given the nice location in a quiet neighborhood.

We booked eight nights but left on the third day because we couldn't sleep or take a proper shower. After asking for our money back if the room was booked again, the girl we were dealing with never replied or even apologized. I absolutely don't recommend the place. This was by far the worst hospitality experience of our three months in South America, and the behavior was completely unacceptable, especially in Chile, where we'd met very kind people. The room beside ours was separated by a door with no real sound insulation. We heard everything from next door, and our neighbors made a lot of noise and smoked inside the building, where smoking wasn't allowed. When we raised it, the woman said it wasn't her fault if guests made noise. I don't understand how anyone thought it was okay to place two rooms side by side with such a poorly insulated door. Getting to our room was a mess, too. The message about its location wasn't clear, and the code we received didn't work. We tried it on another room, where it did work, but that wasn't ours. Instead of apologizing for mixing up the codes and giving unclear directions, the girl we contacted angrily warned us that we'd have to pay if we didn't leave the wrong room in perfect condition. We eventually found our room, tired from the trip and hoping to take a bath. There was mold in the corners, and the water barely worked: the temperature couldn't be adjusted, and hot water turned cold after about 10 seconds. When we reported this, the woman sarcastically insisted the water worked PERFECTLY and said we didn't know how to adjust it. What were we doing wrong that made this bathroom work differently from every other one? If it needed some special adjustment, why weren't we told at the start?

I was spared a stay here by the terrible customer service I experienced while trying to book. From other reviews, it seems this is a recurring problem.
