From the street, the building looks quite old and unappealing, but inside I had nothing to complain about. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast fantastic, especially for the price.

The photos make the place look much better than it does in person. Getting in through a gallery feels odd, and reception is just a small cubicle by the entrance. My room was small and very noisy, the mattress was too soft, the TV signal unclear, and WiFi was mostly limited to the common areas, if you could get any. There wasn't even a glass in the room. The bathroom did have a hairdryer and a safe, though the magnetic key system is a pain: if it stops working, they won't fix it on the spot, and you can be left without a key until the next day. Breakfast had a good mix of hot and cold food, though the plates were tiny. The hotel is central, close to amenities and tourist spots, and better than others in the same category, but still not a great choice for the area.

I was on the sixth floor at the back, and it was quiet, a welcome break from the lively, busy streets outside. This is a well located three star hotel in Santiago, and breakfast was good.

There was no air conditioning in the rooms, which is bad in summer, and both the rooms and meals were expensive.
