Thank you for being kind during my stay. I stayed 24-25Feb in room 1219 and checked out at 5 PM on 25 Feb. I left two jackets in the closet, one purple and one blue. I’ve already left Chile. If possible, could you send them to my address? I messaged Center on 25 Feb but haven’t had a reply, and I couldn’t get through by phone, so I’m sorry to contact you through this review. I know you’re busy, but please reply.

It’s a good value, with fairly spacious rooms and decent basics like A/C, a fridge, and a kettle. The location is handy too, close to Line 1 metro stations and within walking distance of good bars, coffee shops, and restaurants. Breakfast was pretty average, but at 3-star prices you can’t expect 5-star food.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay, and the bed was super comfortable. I loved this hotel and would definitely come back! :)

The rooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious. The problem is that only one elevator works, so getting up or down takes 10+ minutes, and longer if there’s a queue. During peak hours, I waited 20 minutes.

There are handy shops close by, including an Oxxo next door and a small store across the street for drinks and snacks. There are good coffee shops in the area, Uber pickups and dropoffs are easy, and the hotel does daily housekeeping. The shower pressure was good too. We booked a Valparaiso/Vina Del Mar tour through ChileTour for around $38 USD per person, with pickup and dropoff at the hotel. Other people on the tour seemed to have booked through the same company at other hotels. Still, I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s decent, but felt more like a 2-3 star place than the 4 stars listed. The towels were rough and old, the bathroom had no basic amenities, and there was no bottled water. Expedia listed it as a VIP hotel, but we didn’t get any VIP benefits. Some staff weren’t welcoming. We were offered early check-in for a fee, which I understand, but for checking in about 4 hours early we paid around 90% of the nightly rate we’d paid through Expedia. That seemed unreasonable, especially since I’ve had free early check-in or been allowed in much earlier elsewhere. We were asked to pay in USD. We didn’t ask about local currency, so it could have been cheaper, and I’d recommend checking.
