We stayed in two club suites with our four children, and the staff were exceptionally gracious with them and helped us a lot. The pool area was lovely. In the evenings we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood to find dinner and stop at a playground late at night. We couldn’t have asked for an easier stay in Santiago.

Being close to the El Golf Metro station made getting around Santiago easy. We took the metro to the museum, the huge mall, and other places. After a delicious room service dinner, I slept incredibly well in the comfortable bed. The pool and hot tub were a treat, and the drinks at the pool bar were fantastic. Everything from the spa to my room was sparkling clean. The service was outstanding. Jonathan at check-in was kind and helpful, and Daniel at the concierge desk answered my questions about the metro system. It was a great way to wrap up my Patagonia trip. I highly recommend the Ritz Carlton for a future visit to Santiago!

The location puts you near many of Santiago’s great restaurants, and the room was spacious. The spa and pool were better than at most hotels, even surpassing the nearby Santiago Marriott. Breakfast was top-notch, too. Staff at the concierge, reception, bar, and restaurant were attentive and helpful. The decor is elegant, though the lobby seating furniture could use a little touch-up. At this price point and category, it was excellent in every other respect.

The staff made this stay for us. Wherever we went, from the spa and restaurant to the front lobby, they welcomed us with smiles and wonderful hospitality. We were here for eight days, and we’ll absolutely stay again when we return. We nearly skipped the Ritz-Carlton Santiago after seeing a few negative reviews, and we’re so glad we came. From beginning to end, the experience was amazing. Everyone was kind, attentive, and welcoming, and the stay exceeded our expectations.

The Club Lounge was a real highlight, with very good food, a strong wine selection, and plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. It’s a comfortable, welcoming place to relax. Downstairs, the bar was excellent too. The cocktails were well made, the food and drinks were high quality, and the pisco sour I had was outstanding. At check-in I was upgraded to a junior suite with Club Lounge access. Club guests check in directly on the 10th floor, and the process was smooth and friendly. The staff explained the hotel and lounge amenities clearly and answered my questions about the city and nearby sights. My suite was spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with two living areas and a bathroom. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable, and the room felt calm and well designed. A few spots could use small cosmetic fixes, like paint touch-ups, but they didn’t affect the comfort. Housekeeping was very good, though they missed replacing the wash towels a couple of times, which was mildly annoying. The hotel is close to good shopping and restaurants, and it’s easy to get around. Santiago is a large city, so taxis are often needed, but the subway is convenient too. The Red Line stop is right by the hotel. Breakfast at the restaurant was worth having, with a great buffet of fruit, breads, pastries, meats, smoked fish, and more, plus eggs, bacon, sausage, and other items made to order. Service was warm, efficient, and professional. I had a lovely weekend stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Santiago and would happily return. It’s comfortable and well located, with strong service, good dining options, and a great Club Lounge. I highly recommend it, and the warm Ritz Carlton welcome and service stood out.
