Windsor Suites Hotel

The front desk staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room service was great. I liked having a fridge, strong Wi-Fi, and a TV with YouTube, Netflix, Disney Plus and more. The room was huge, with a nice balcony, and the shower had plenty of warm water. They also do laundry: they picked up my dirty clothes and brought them back the next day clean and smelling good. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

The rooms are very large, the location is excellent, and the rate I got through hotels.com was incredibly cheap. But the place seriously needs renovation, and the breakfast was very basic. I was told the night before that I could have breakfast whenever I wanted, then got a 7 a.m. call asking what I wanted to eat. The air conditioning issue was handled badly by reception. When I reported that it wasn’t working, they said they didn’t have modern air conditioners. Someone did come and move one of the knobs into the empty temperature-setting hole, then turned the temperature down, which got it working. Still, I really disliked how reception treated me. If you can look past those issues and want a great location, I’d still suggest booking here.

Our room had a lovely view over San Lucia Park, plus a nice deck, and breakfast was included each morning. The hotel is close to plenty of shops, restaurants, and subway stops. It’s a great little hidden gem in the heart of Santiago, with a good-sized room.

The hotel is clean and simple, and its location is very good. But in the room my family had, we could hear everything from the other rooms, from TVs to a couple having sex. The Wi-Fi was terrible, and showering was difficult because hot water would suddenly turn cold.
