Hostal Pehuenche

I wouldn’t trust this hotel. I went in last night to ask about a room, but it cost more than we wanted to pay, so we apologized and left. While talking with the receptionist, I’d put my water bottle on the desk. I was outside for about five minutes, then remembered it and went back in. I explained that I’d left it there. The woman said she didn’t know about it and hadn’t seen it, though I’m completely sure I left it on the desk, and no one else had been in or out of the office. I believe she lied and took it. She quickly became aggressive and defensive, and wouldn’t talk to me any further. I don’t know why she wanted my water bottle so badly, but I’d never stay somewhere where staff steal your things. Security is very bad. If it had been anything valuable, I would’ve called the police.

Some of the staff were friendly, but two women were really rude to guests. They have no idea what customer service means. The owner should take note.

The location is central, and the staff are friendly. There’s air conditioning, and you can leave your bags for a few hours after checkout.

Good choice for a few days on your own. The room is comfortable and has what you need, including air conditioning and Wi-Fi. It's centrally located, so getting around is easy, and breakfast is served daily. Prices are reasonable.
