Eco-Hostel Temuco

I stayed in a simple, clean single room. It was small, but quite comfortable, and the location is central. The shared bathrooms and kitchen were all very hygienic. Even if you arrive late, you can use the kitchen to make tea or coffee. It's fine for a short stop in Temuco, especially if you're just passing through.

The location is good, very close to the city center, but cheap can end up costing you. We were a large group, and the agreement was that the hostel wouldn't take anyone else. Two beds were still empty, though, and they accepted more guests. Those people fought all night and kept everyone awake. We complained and asked them to be quiet, but it made no difference. The bathrooms were in terrible condition too.

It's quiet and centrally located, but I wouldn't stay again because of the hygiene, especially the beds. The bedding was disgusting, and my bed frame was missing slats. I couldn't sleep comfortably with the stains and the worry that the mattress might give way.

The double room I stayed in had satellite TV, and the shared dining space and terrace were lovely. Wi-Fi was free, with two networks, which I assume are for the upper and ground floors. The shared bathrooms were spotless and in perfect shape. Great service and location, especially for such an inexpensive stay.
